Michelle lives in Winnipeg, MB, which is Treaty 1 territory and birthplace of the Métis nation. She is an educator, who specializes in literacy education, currently working in a Montessori elementary school. Her work has led her to taking on a secondary role of website and social media management.

Michelle has almost 20 years of experience volunteering with Scouts Canada. She is married to her loving partner of over 10 years, Ian. Together they have a fur baby (cat) called Storm who is the star of their lives.

Michelle runs a Heathen Blog called Hearthside and is active with Heathen Women United. She also is the Chieftain of Vetrarblað kindred. Michelle works tirelessly to keep the HCC running in terms of communications via email, social media and website.

Michelle has many hobbies including: hiking, gardening, wood-carving, and mead-making.
