Rachel Norman (she/her)
National Councilor
Rachel Norman lives in Toronto, ON with her husband and cat. She has been active in the Toronto pagan community since the late 1990s and in 2018 she took over as Chair of the Toronto Pagan Pride Day committee, growing it from a small event with about 50 attendees to a large festival of 300-400 attendees, adding vendors and performances, in addition to fire, rituals, and workshops.
Professionally, she is a Criminal Intelligence Analyst since 2022, and a Private Investigator since 2016. She is also a licenced Wedding Officiant in Ontario, receiving her ordination from a non-denominational church in 2016. As well, she is also a member of The Troth and is considering studying to be Heathen clergy as well.
Rachel heeds the guidance of Heimdallr in her personal and professional life. Her daily mantra is "skapa, lita, læra, reyna, biðja, bjoða, útvega, heiðra", which is Icelandic for "create, colour, learn, try, ask, offer, provide, and honour", and attests that her Hávamál is well read, her hammer is well worn, and her acts of service continue.

"Create, colour, learn, try, ask, offer, provide, and honour."
